Raffles Christian School Jakarta is an international day school in Indonesia with a Christian ethos enrolling students from ages 2 to 18. Raffles Christian School Jakarta - Pondok Indah Campus teaches Cambridge (Primary), Cambridge IGCSE, Cambridge International AS Levels, Cambridge A Levels, Reggio Emilia Approach, Montessori Curriculum for students aged 2 to 18.
The Secondary Division follows the Cambridge Pathway, with Lower Secondary (Grade 7–8) as Cambridge Secondary 1. Upper Secondary (Grade 9–10) leads to Cambridge IGCSE with a Streaming option in Medical, Engineering and Business. Compulsory subjects include English, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Indonesian Studies, Citizenship, and Christian Worldview Studies; electives include Global Perspectives, ICT, Music, Mandarin, Introduction to Business, Art & Design and Physical Education. The Cambridge Checkpoint curriculum is used for Secondary 1 and 2 (Grade 7–8) as beginning courses leading to Cambridge IGCSE. Cambridge IGCSEs are internationally recognized by schools, universities and employers as equivalent in standard to the British GCSE and International GCE O Level examinations. The curriculum encourages students to use an exploratory approach to problem solving, have confidence in their ability to solve problems, apply skills, knowledge and understanding, undertake individual projects and work as part of a team, and develop oral and practical skills. Cambridge Checkpoint provides diagnostic information to monitor readiness for IGCSE.
Students consistently achieve strong results in Cambridge Checkpoint and IGCSE examinations. These results reflect rigorous teaching, strong academic support and student dedication. Cambridge Checkpoint provides a diagnostic assessment at the end of Lower Secondary to inform progression to IGCSE.

The primary language of instruction is English. Indonesian and Chinese are offered as part of the multilingual education. Aside from English, all students are required to take Indonesian and Chinese. In Secondary 3-4, students can choose either First Language English or English as a Second Language. Chinese language in the curriculum follows Cambridge and HSK frameworks, while Indonesian language follows Bahasa Indonesia and Indonesian as a Foreign Language is available for foreign students.
Counselling Programme provides one-to-one sessions with a school counsellor or psychologist. Counselling covers friendships, motivations and time management; career counselling is available for older students; learning styles and special intervention support are provided as needed.
Homeroom programmes address bullying prevention and personal boundaries, with interactive seminars on sex education, stress management and health and safety conducted by professionals.
1. Admission procedure: The school accepts applicants for Nursery 1 (age 2 years) to Junior College. A registration form can be obtained at the Admission Office or downloaded from the website and must be fully completed. Selection is on a first-come, first-served basis and registration closes when full capacity is reached. Applicants are expected to meet the age eligibility and entrance qualifications for their level as outlined below. 2. Age eligibility and entrance qualifications by level: Pre-primary comprises N1, N2, K1, K2 with entrance qualification of Free Trial for AY 2026–2027. Primary covers Primary 1–6 with English and Mathematics written test plus a student interview as entrance qualification. Secondary covers Secondary 1–4 with English, Mathematics and Science written tests plus a student interview. Junior College covers Junior College 1–2 with English, Mathematics and Science written tests plus a student interview; after evaluation, parents are notified regarding the status of the application. 3. Placement test and development fees: A non-refundable Placement Test Fee is applicable (IDR 500,000 for Primary 1 – Secondary 4; IDR 1,000,000 for Junior College). Upon notification of acceptance, parents must remit payment of the Development Fee to secure placement in a class. A student candidate is considered accepted once all academic and administrative requirements are fulfilled and payment confirmation from Finance is received. 4. Registration documents: For Indonesian students, provide copies of Birth Certificate (Akte Kelahiran), Family Card (Kartu Keluarga), Parents' valid ID Cards (KTP), Report Card (Rapor), and one 3x4 cm color photo of student and parent. For foreign students, provide copies of Birth Certificate, Family Card, Parent's Passport and KITAS, Report Card, and one 3x4 cm color photo of student and parent. 5. Age policy: The policy sets class age groups by academic year and is used to determine placement; it is outlined per school year (e.g., AY 2023/2024 to AY 2025/2026) to inform class assignment.
RCS Inspire Scholarships are available for Secondary and Junior High School students for 2026–2027. There are three scholarship types: Academic Scholarships, Creative Arts Scholarships, and Sports Scholarships; full and partial scholarships are available, with eligibility depending on merit in the relevant area. Scholarships are offered at five entry points: Year 7, Year 8, Year 9, Year 10, and Year 11 (Cambridge to A Level programs). Eligibility requires meeting the relevant academic and English entry requirements; the number of scholarships is limited and not all eligible students may receive an award; acceptance of the offer must occur within one week or the scholarship offer will be withdrawn. Application involves completing a Scholarship Application Form, submitting required documents, and undergoing a placement test in Math and English followed by an interview (at RCS Pondok Indah, Kelapa Gading or Kebon Jeruk).
