The school was established in 1995 in Batam as the city's first preschool and the first National Plus school. It was founded by Djuwita Barak Rimba, M.BA, who serves as Founder and Dean of Studies. The curriculum blends the Cambridge International program with Indonesia's Merdeka Curriculum, including Cambridge Examinations Checkpoint, IGCSE, and AS/A Levels. The Merdeka Curriculum provides a certificate from Indonesia's Ministry of Education.
