History

Sekolah Nusa Alam (SNA) was founded in 1999 by Ibu Ace Robin and Ibu Sopantini, together with Lombok residents Peter Cranfield and Mark Heyward, and officially opened on 17 January 2000 with six students and five teaching staff. It became a founding member of the National Plus Schools Association (ANPS) in 2000, and enrolments reached over 50 by 2003. The school expanded to include junior secondary and then senior secondary, and achieved Cambridge IGCSE accreditation around 2011. In 2014 it was licensed as an SPK and gained national accreditation; in 2018 it relocated to a purpose-built international campus, and from 2022 to 2025 the curriculum was consolidated and the campus expanded, including an alliance with Mandalika Intercultural School.
