Semarang Multinational School is a non-profit, community-run international school in Semarang, established in 1982. The campus operates from two buildings and serves learners from early years to secondary. The Early Years program uses IEYC; Primary follows IPC and Cambridge Primary. For secondary, SMS offers Cambridge Lower Secondary and Cambridge IGCSE and is an internationally registered Cambridge Centre. In Years 9–10, students study seven IGCSE subjects, with external assessments possible and progression to Cambridge AS/A Levels for the AICE Diploma in Years 11–12. The Duke of Edinburgh's International Award is available, highlighting leadership and service opportunities. English is the language of instruction; Bahasa Indonesia is taught as a host-country language, and Mandarin is offered. Facilities include a building for early years; a second building houses a library, science room and music room, plus ICT across the curriculum.
