Middle school is now available, combining the Cambridge Curriculum with the National Curriculum to prepare students for a global future. The primary SD program follows the Singapore Curriculum, organized around life skills, knowledge skills, and subject-based learning to develop knowledge, values, and 21st-century competencies. Teachers use a student-centered approach that connects learning to real-life experiences and encourages collaboration and global awareness. ESOL provides functional English language instruction for learners at any level.
Artistic expression is cultivated through art, music, theatre, and movement, enabling students to express ideas and feelings creatively. Students create art, music, and performances through experimentation and imagination, building personal expression and confidence. Theatre is offered as a co-curricular activity for TK2 through SD6, alongside other creative pursuits.
ESOL provides functional language instruction to support English learners at all levels. Mandarin is taught as a language, with a focus on speaking confidently, recognizing and writing Chinese characters, and engaging with songs, poems, stories, and related cultural activities. Language learning is integrated with cultural awareness to prepare students for a global community.
Co-curricular activities are unique to each campus and are organized and supervised by trained professionals who teach essential skills. Leadership in the assembly hall begins on the field, and Co-Curricular programs maximize these activities to reinforce teamwork, personal development, and leadership. Weekly activities include swimming (Monday for TK2 and SD1–SD2; Wednesday for SD3–SD6), badminton (Tuesday for SD1–SD6), theatre (TK2–SD6), English Writing Club (Thursday for SD1–SD6), and futsal (Friday for SD1–SD3).
Leadership opportunities arise through Co-Curricular activities and school life. SIS Co-Curricular leverages these experiences to reinforce teamwork, personal development, and leadership values. Students gain practical leadership experience by participating in group tasks and school events.
Students develop motor skills and coordination through activities in both indoor and outdoor settings. The program emphasizes healthy habits and safety awareness at home, at school, and in public spaces. Activities include sand and water play, gym, indoor and outdoor play, health programs, projects, and field trips.
SIS Cilegon is an international day school in Cilegon serving students from age 2 to 16. The Preschool uses the Nurturing Early Learners Framework with Mandarin and Information Technology, running from Nursery One to Kindergarten Two. The Primary program follows the Singaporean Curriculum, organized around Life Skills, Knowledge Skills and Subject Based Learning, with English, Mathematics and Science as core subjects, plus Bahasa Indonesia, ICT, Social Studies, Health Education, Art and Design, Music, PPKN and Religion. The Secondary program, for ages 13–16, combines the Singaporean and Cambridge curricula and offers Cambridge Check Point and Cambridge IGCSE assessments; English/ESOL, Chinese, Indonesian and French are available, along with Mathematics, Science, Computer Science, Geography, History, Literature, Art and Design, Physical Education and Music. In March 2025, SIS Cilegon launched its Secondary (SMP) Programme expanding opportunities within the school. Co-Curricular Activities include Swimming, Badminton, Theatre Arts and English Writing Club. The school upholds fairness, respect, integrity, compassion and courage, with Cambridge-certified instructors and a Community Service Programme.
