Mandarin is introduced in the Preschool as part of the Nurturing Early Learners Framework. ESOL provides English language support for learners at SIS Palembang. The Primary curriculum includes English and Chinese as core subjects, with Bahasa Indonesia also taught. In Secondary, English (including ESOL), Chinese, Indonesian and French are offered as language subjects, and the Cambridge A Level program at Junior College includes English and Chinese.
