The Springfield School Cambridge curriculum supports social and emotional development through its School Wide Learning Outcomes. Students are expected to Have excellent character and be spiritually developed, Be lifelong learners, Be effective collaborators and communicators, and Be creative and critical thinkers. Pastoral care is provided by Home Room teachers, school counsellors, and pastoral staff, with devotional times, character-building assemblies, and one-on-one counselling sessions. The school emphasizes a caring community and Christian values to guide interactions and behavior. The School Wide Learning Outcomes are designed to help students apply learning in real-world contexts and to develop intercultural awareness within a diverse and inclusive environment.
There is a dynamic language immersion program in English and Mandarin. English is the language of instruction, and Mandarin is studied by all students as part of language education. Bahasa Indonesia is also studied by all students. Mandarin is taught by highly skilled expatriate teachers to support bilingual proficiency.
Pastoral care is provided by Home Room teachers, counsellors, and pastoral care staff. There are devotional times, character-building assemblies, and one-on-one counselling sessions. Springfield also offers university and career guidance services for Secondary students to support wellbeing and transitions.
Springfield School Jakarta is a nonprofit international day school delivering a full Cambridge curriculum from Nursery to Grade 12. The program includes Cambridge Primary, Lower Secondary, IGCSE, and AS/A Levels assessments, with the Cambridge Primary Framework underpinning learning. The school serves ages 2 to 17 across four campuses in Permata Buana (West Jakarta) and Raffles Hills (Cibubur). Instruction is in English, and Bahasa Indonesia and Mandarin are studied by all students; Mandarin is prepared to HSK standards. Springfield operates as a yayasan and as a SPK, recognized by the Indonesian government, and is accredited by both the government and the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC).
