The British School of Bali opened on 1 September 2025 to provide education for children aged 2-11. It is chartered by The Schools Trust, a United Kingdom governance body. The school is located in the heart of Bali's Ubud District. Its mission is to be a world-leading school, focusing on high standards, developing character, critical thinking and a passion for learning. The British-style curriculum is enhanced with extra-curricular and instrumental programmes, and a purpose-built campus is planned to open in April 2026, expanding provision to Year 7 in September 2026.
The school community is connected through the Parents' Connection, a social and welcoming organisation that promotes interaction between parents and the school. It provides events for the whole school and coordinates fundraising activities that support charities and school programmes. All parents become members as soon as their child joins the school, and it serves as a meeting place to engage with the Senior Leadership Team and learn about educational sessions. The Parents' Connection is self-funding and uses funds for charity donations or school events, with clear finances; it does not form part of school governance.
