Application and enrolment fees
For 2026/2027, The Independent School of Jakarta charges a non-refundable IDR 4,680,000 application fee. A refundable IDR 16,328,000 enrolment deposit is also payable when a place is accepted.
Tuition fees
Tuition can be paid annually or by term, with three terms per academic year. Pre-Prep tuition ranges from IDR 148,524,000 to IDR 289,357,440 per year, or IDR 50,993,240 to IDR 99,346,054 per term. Prep School tuition ranges from IDR 419,702,400 to IDR 464,984,000 per year, or IDR 144,097,824 to IDR 159,644,507 per term. Senior School tuition ranges from IDR 484,733,600 to IDR 504,957,600 per year, or IDR 166,425,203 to IDR 173,368,776 per term.
Billing schedule and payment terms
Termly fees are due 14 days before the start of each term. Families who pay termly should follow the three-term billing schedule for the academic year.
Included costs
Tuition includes teaching, curriculum access, learning materials and textbooks, campus facilities, pastoral care, academic support, and co-curricular activities.
Additional costs
Additional charges apply for lunch, school trips and events, external examination fees, uniforms and transport, individual music lessons, and the UK residential programme.
Discounts and refunds
Sibling discounts apply from the third child, with 5% for the third child, 10% for the fourth child, and 15% for the fifth child and beyond. The discount is applied to the youngest children’s fees. The enrolment deposit is refundable when the child leaves the school.
