Universal School Jakarta operates across two campuses in Kemayoran and Kelapa Gading, offering Cambridge Full Pathway education for ages 3 to 18. Students follow the Cambridge International Curriculum from Early Years through Cambridge International A-Levels, with IGCSE as a key milestone. The 2.8-hectare campuses feature biology, chemistry and physics laboratories certified by the University of Cambridge, a well-stocked library, multimedia and ICT facilities, and Smart Classrooms in every room. The facilities include a Grand Auditorium for performing arts, an indoor swimming pool, and a multipurpose indoor sports hall, plus an outdoor field and green spaces with a dedicated Early Years playground. The LEAP program adds cross-disciplinary activities across sports, cooking, music, languages, science, technology, engineering and mathematics. Extra-curriculars include Model United Nations, field trips, science exhibitions, and arts ensembles. 1) Campus Visit. The school invites families to begin the admissions process with an in-person campus visit. The Admissions Team welcomes the family and provides an Information Form to complete. This form collects the child's background and intended year level. Spaces are limited; early engagement is strongly encouraged. 2) Arrival & Information Form. Upon arrival, the Admissions Team welcomes the family and provides the Information Form to complete. This form collects the child's background and intended year level. The school uses this information to guide the admissions review and tailor the subsequent steps. The Information Form helps ensure a smooth start to the process. 3) Admissions Assessment. The child completes a written assessment in English and Mathematics and participates in a verbal interview. Kindergarten applicants participate in a short interaction only. The school evaluates language and numeracy, learning attitude and readiness, and overall fit within the academic environment. The assessment results inform the Admissions Team's subsequent decision. 4) Admission Outcome. After the assessment, the Admissions Team reviews the results and notifies the family of the outcome. The notification states the assessment result and admission status. The process ensures clear communication about the decision. 5) Application & Document Submission (In Person). If offered a place, the family submits the Application Form and supporting documents in person. Required documents include: Completed Application Form; Birth Certificate; Student's Passport / ID; Parent(s)' Passport / ID; Family Card (Kartu Keluarga) for Indonesian families; Academic Reports (last 2 years); Transfer Letter (if applicable); Any relevant medical or psychological reports (if applicable).
