Admission Guidelines: We are pleased that you are considering Benedetto XV International School for your child's educational journey. Admissions are open year-round, subject to availability. Submitting your application early increases the chances of admission. Language and curriculum: English is the language of daily life and learning; native-speaking teachers follow the British National Curriculum, harmonized with the guidelines of MIM. The school also offers a multilingual program with English, Italian, French, and Spanish.
STEP 1: Prepare the documents. Gather all necessary documents before submitting your application. The required documents vary by age. 0-6 YEARS OLD (Nursery and Kindergarten): No English language knowledge is required; required documents include the application form and a copy of the child's passport. PRIMARY SCHOOL: No prior English language knowledge is required for Grade 1; from Year 2 onwards, students must be able to express themselves in English; a written English test or an oral interview may be required; transcripts and school records from the last two years (in English or Italian). 11-14 YEARS OLD (Lower Secondary): Students must demonstrate an adequate level of written and spoken English by taking an English test and an oral interview; required documents include the application form, a copy of the passport, a student recommendation form, transcripts and school records from the last two years (in English or Italian). STEP 2: Visit the school and meet the administration. After submitting the documentation, you will be contacted to arrange a personalized school visit and a meeting with the principal. During Christmas holidays and from mid-July to mid-August, there may be delays in communication. STEP 3: Enrollment Confirmation. If your application is accepted, you will receive a confirmation email with instructions to complete the enrollment and reserve your place. We operate rolling admissions with no deadlines; typically the Admissions Committee makes a decision within two weeks of receiving all required documents, though July and August may take longer. There may be a waiting list when capacity is reached for specific grade levels, and a bus transportation service is available. The language of daily life and learning is English; the school provides an international environment.
