Canadian College Italy is a university-preparatory, co-educational boarding high school in Lanciano, Abruzzo. The school delivers an Ontario Ministry of Education–supervised high school curriculum taught in English, with Italian language taught by a native Italian teacher. It serves Grades 9–12 and offers enrollment for a single semester or up to four academic years. Eighty percent of teaching staff come from Ontario, and the teacher–student ratio is 1:12. Graduates earn the Ontario Secondary School Diploma, and the program has Ontario credit-granting authority since 1995. The campus occupies a 14th‑century palazzo on Via Cavour, featuring a central atrium, an Art room, a science lab and a library/study area. Boarding life is organized in Cuore residence for girls, and Allegria and Palazzo de Giorgio for boys. The program supports university placements worldwide and provides access to outdoor activities, including hiking and winter skiing, plus a scuba certification program after a year of dives.

Lanciano is a central Italian town in the Abruzzo region. Canadian College Italy is located at Via Camillo Benso Conte di Cavour 13 in Lanciano, within the historic centre. Lanciano is well connected by train and bus; it is about a 20-minute drive to Pescara and less than three hours by bus to Rome, with residences located in the historic centre within a short walk to the main school building.

CCI graduates have received offers from universities in Canada, the United States, and Europe, including McGill University, University of Toronto, University of British Columbia, Harvard University, Dartmouth College, Northwestern University, Imperial College London, Oxford University, Bocconi University, Ca' Foscari University of Venice, and John Cabot University, among others.
The Duke of Edinburgh Award is offered at CCI. Students design their own program and set goals across four areas: service, physical recreation, skills, and an adventurous journey. Participants become more confident and resilient and develop communication, problem solving and leadership skills, with health and wellbeing and educational attainment noted as areas of impact.
All courses are taught in English (Italian language is offered as a subject). Entering students are encouraged to take introductory Italian to facilitate town life.
Participation in The Duke of Edinburgh Award supports mental wellbeing by building confidence, resilience and leadership. It also develops communication and problem solving skills, with positive effects on wellbeing observed as part of the program's outcomes.
Residence Dons provide 24‑hour supervision in both residence and campus settings, enforcing safety, study and cleanliness. Dons act as mentors in a home‑like environment and oversee a silent study period during scheduled hours; curfew rules require students to return to residence by specific times on weekdays and weekends.

5. Applications are reviewed by an advisory committee upon receipt, and applicants will be informed as soon as a decision is made. The school operates on rolling admissions and offers places based on academic record, teacher recommendations and the availability of space in any given year.
Scholarships are merit-based and are awarded to students who demonstrate high academic achievement, outstanding talent, extra-curricular participation, good citizenship and leadership. Bursaries support students with financial need who demonstrate strong academics, good character and potential for meaningful school contributions. A third-party service provides timely, unbiased and confidential analysis of a family's financial ability to contribute towards their child's education.
