Facilities Overview

Located overlooking Lake Albano, between Castel Gandolfo, Grottaferrata, Marino and Rocca di Papa. The school is housed in an elegant villa on a vast compound with ample parking, green spaces, and a deep enchanted forest. Its airy gym, spacious classrooms, lunch room, and child-sized toilets contribute to a warm learning environment. The school premises are on the ground floor and comply with Italian health and safety requirements. The location is easily accessible for people from the Castelli Romani area.

Academic Facilities

In our Kindergarten the curriculum is based on the Montessori method. The nursery curriculum is Montessori-based. The primary program follows the Cambridge Primary curriculum. The Cambridge curriculum is offered as part of a bilingual program with Italian classes. The curriculum covers seven learning areas: Literacy skills, Mathematics, Sensorial, Practical life, Creativity, Cultural studies, and Outdoors.

Children's Castle International in Italy welcomes children aged 2 to 11 to a bilingual, international learning environment. The nursery uses Montessori methods, while the Cambridge Primary curriculum guides the primary years, mapped to UK stages: Class 1 (2–3) nursery; Class 2 (3–4) Foundation Stage; Class 3 (4–5) Reception; Class 4 (5–6) Year 1. Cambridge Primary is complemented by Italian language studies to support mobility between countries. The school is Cambridge International-affiliated, a member of RISA, and approved by Italy's Ministry of Education (MIUR). Learning areas cover Literacy, Mathematics, Sensorial, Practical Life, Creativity, Cultural Studies, and Outdoors. The campus overlooks Lake Albano and sits in a villa with a large compound, green spaces, a forest, parking, an airy gym, spacious classrooms, a lunch room, and child-sized toilets, all compliant with Italian health and safety requirements.
