History

The International Migrants School was established in 2007 under the name Association of Educational Development and Professional Accreditation (EDPAA), which focused on professional formation and training programs. In 2012 EDPAA became a project of MRN Language Training Center, based in the Philippines. In 2016 EDPAA was renamed M&L INTERNATIONAL TRAINING CENTER, dedicated to benefactors who funded many students. In 2017 the School Project for the Migrants was created; it was Filipino Migrants School, but to serve migrants of other nationalities the name was changed to International Migrants School, serving learners from kindergarten to grade 12.

The school is located at Via Pietro Cartone 187, 00152 Rome, Italy. IMS Commencement Exercises 2025 occurred on June 21, 2025 at Crowne Plaza St. Peter Hotel. City of Rome Energie per Roma 2025 was awarded to IMS School Directress Milagros on January 21, 2025. JS Prom 2024 took place on February 24, 2024. The motto is Enculturate. Educate. Empower. Core Values include Knowledge, Respect, Responsibility, Love, Honesty and Compassion.
