Extra-Curricular Activities

Clubs, activities, and opportunities to explore interests and passions

Academic and Intellectual

The school has a Centre de Documentation et d'Information (CDI) that serves as a reading and study space, with access to novels, comics, magazines and reference works. The CDI participates actively in the life of the school through interdisciplinary and cultural projects in collaboration with teachers. Resources are accessible via the e-sidoc portal. ADN-AEFE is an AEFE program hosted at the lycée, enabling students to participate in exchanges with partner schools to broaden their academic and intercultural learning.

Arts and Creative

Mai des Langues 2025 featured multilingual theatre performances, including a multilingual on-site presentation on Segesta square, as well as Kamishibai storytelling and poetry recitals. The program included flamenco workshops and other theatrical activities such as Assaggi di Teatro, providing opportunities for creative expression across languages. These arts-driven activities were part of a broader celebration of language learning and culture.

Cultural and Language

The school provides multilingual education, with students learning French, Italian and English, and the option to study German or Spanish from grade 5. An exchange with Liceo Gentileschi and other cross-language activities are part of Mai des Langues, promoting intercultural communication. ADN-AEFE further supports intercultural exchange across AEFE partner schools.

Social and Hobbies

Semaine Verte is a week-long initiative focused on sustainable development, with around thirty actions, debates, creative workshops and eco-friendly projects led by students. Activities include La Grande Friperie (second-hand market), the Trash Challenge with the neighborhood committee, a mobility challenge (bike or scooter) for primary, bike repair workshops, plant exchanges, a vegetation workshop and circulation of eco-gestures. The event also features projects like the Bilan-Carbone initiative, engaging the whole school in environmental action.

Community and Service

Journée Internationale des Droits des Femmes mobilizes students through the CVC and CVL to promote gender equality, including violet ribbon distribution, videos on parity and an exhibition by the DD club on inequalities. The day is documented with reflections and images that highlight civic engagement and community awareness. These activities demonstrate the school's emphasis on social responsibility and inclusive community actions.

Leadership and Professional

Forum des Métiers, conducted within the Parcours Avenir framework, connects students with professionals to explore career paths and future opportunities. ADN-AEFE also provides leadership-like experiences through international exchanges and cross-cultural projects within the AEFE network. These initiatives build students' professional awareness and leadership skills.

Lifestyle and Wellbeing

Semaine Verte promotes well-being through engagement in debates, eco-activities and physical mobility initiatives (e.g., bike-based activities) that encourage healthy, sustainable lifestyles. The week's program also includes practical workshops and outdoor activities that foster student participation and community health awareness.
