English and Italian immersion; children are immersed in a bilingual environment with classes and materials in both English and Italian. The bilingual curriculum is recognised by the Italian Ministry of Education (MIUR) and accredited as a Cambridge International School for First Language, to further study in Italy and abroad. Students embark on a bilingual learning journey, mastering subjects in English and Italian and developing the skills, confidence and curiosity needed to succeed at top Italian and international high schools.
A wide range of extra-curricular activities includes sports, performing arts and language clubs. ISP Artists provides workshops with experts, a personalized visual arts curriculum and virtual art exhibitions. Sculpture projects, TEDxYouth events and the Talent on Air podcast initiative give students opportunities to design, create and share their work with an audience.
Language Club offers lively English conversations through discussions and language games. Educational trips expose students to museums and cultural venues, with secondary students also attending performances such as opera at Teatro alla Scala. In Milan, trips extend to diverse destinations and experiences that deepen cultural understanding and language use.
After-school care runs from 4:00 pm to 6:30 pm, with socialising, games and creative activities supervised by qualified staff. Primary students may attend holiday camps during Christmas and Carnival breaks. The school also runs events and clubs, including class representatives, a Student Council, and Student Ambassadors, along with a broad offering of sports such as swimming, volleyball and tennis/padel.
Educational trips include civic education programmes and visits to lands that have been confiscated, extending learning beyond the classroom. The Student Council represents classmates and acts as a bridge with teachers. Class Representatives and Student Ambassadors promote student involvement and leadership, while ISP Model United Nations provides opportunities for global collaboration and leadership development. Life competencies frameworks, supported by Cambridge/ISP partnerships, cultivate self-leadership, teamwork and global citizenship.
Wellbeing is supported through physical activities such as swimming, Pilates and yoga, alongside outdoor and team sports like tennis and padel. After-school provision includes time for social and recreational activities, and regular events strengthen teamwork and personal well-being.
MILE Bilingual School is a private international school in Milan offering a Cambridge-based curriculum in English and Italian. With more than 20 years of experience, it delivers Cambridge Primary for the Primary years and Cambridge Lower Secondary for the Middle School, integrated with MIUR for the Italian component.
