Personalized Learning Plans (PDP) address Specific Educational Needs (BES) for each student, providing effective, up-to-date and humane support. English as an Additional Language (EAL) and Italian as an Additional Language (IAL) support is provided. The Multilingual Intervention (MMI) team offers personalised help, extra resources and regular meetings to boost English and Italian language skills. Students with Specific Learning Difficulties (SLD), including dyslexia, dysgraphia and dyscalculia, benefit from specialised tools and adjustments such as text-to-speech software, mind maps, calculators and extra time. Psychological support is available through a partnership with Centro Amalthea to promote well-being.

Safeguarding is a shared responsibility to promote the physical and psychological wellbeing of all students. The safeguarding team includes Manuela Dolci (Designated Safeguarding Lead, Primary) and Patrizia Fiorentini (Safeguarding Lead, Middle). The safeguarding policy outlines staff responsibilities to recognise risk and respond promptly to prevent harm. Safeguarding measures include child protection training, cyber safety and pediatric first aid; the school is equipped with a defibrillator. MILE Bilingual School is a private international school in Milan offering a Cambridge-based curriculum in English and Italian. With more than 20 years of experience, it delivers Cambridge Primary for the Primary years and Cambridge Lower Secondary for the Middle School, integrated with MIUR for the Italian component. The Bespoke Curriculum supports continuity across ages 0 to 14, and the Learning Journey covers ages 1 to 14 from bilingual Nursery to Bilingual Lower Secondary.
