The Montessori Bilingual School of Milan uses the Montessori Method with mixed-age classrooms and cosmic education as core components. Preschool – Children's House includes two mixed-age bilingual classrooms for ages three to six, with activities conducted in Italian and English by a team of two teachers. The Primary School welcomes children aged six to eleven and applies the Montessori method using both English and Italian in all subjects. The Montessori approach is supported by cosmic education and Montessori materials.
Musical education is part of the Montessori classroom. The school offers after-school activities including theater in English, karate, juggling and circus arts, art, and chess. A Shakespeare-themed theater course for primary students is available as an English-language program.
The school provides a bilingual Italian–English environment, with English not taught separately but lived in daily learning and social interactions. In Preschool – Children's House, two teachers (one Italian speaker and one English speaker) collaborate in bilingual education.
