Admission Open: Admission requires submission of an online application form, a copy of the passport or birth certificate, a medical form, previous school records (if applicable), and payment of the one-time non-refundable registration fee. The online application is completed at qsi-brindisi.openapply.com; the office will verify the student's age and the name on the passport or birth certificate, and will request supporting information such as other school records (if applicable), immunization records, a copy of the child's passport and visa page or birth certificate, and a copy of the parents' passport and visa page. The process includes: 1. Request information about QSI International School of Brindisi. 2. Meet with the Director to learn about the school, its educational program, and visit classrooms. 3. Complete the online application. 4. Visit the accounting office to receive an invoice, pay the one-time non-refundable registration fee, and receive a receipt. 5. Schedule testing for children aged 5 years and older; tests will include English reading comprehension and vocabulary, a writing test in English, and mathematics; the process may take two hours or more. 6. After the school has reviewed the tests and all required information, a school official will share the results with the parents and discuss placement options. 7. Following placement, tuition and capital fund fees must be paid by the deadlines. 8. Begin their education.
Scholarship: The Advisory Board awards scholarships to families in need to support the educational needs of their children and to expand the school's programming. Application and Notification: Scholarships are awarded to the oldest eligible child when more than one child applies, and will not exceed one full award per family unless extenuating circumstances apply; Scholarships are considered for students ages 5 and older; All new applicants for a scholarship must meet with the Director before the scholarship review; If a parent is on the Advisory Board, they recuse themselves from discussions regarding the scholarship; Renewal amounts are decided by May of the preceding school year; The policy is reviewed annually and may be amended by the Advisory Board; Available Funding: Each school year the amount of scholarship funding will not exceed 10% of the regular school fee income for students paying full fees in the 5-year-old class and older; If accepted for a scholarship, parents pay a $300 registration fee; Eligibility Criteria: students must be in good academic standing and contribute to the school's positive social climate; families of scholarship students are expected to contribute volunteer hours or in-kind contributions; to be considered, the child must demonstrate they will benefit from the school's program; The Advisory Board weighs the relative merit of each case; Maintaining Eligibility: students must maintain acceptable grades and satisfactory ratings for success orientations; scholarship students must contribute to the school's social climate; In all cases, the Advisory Board's decision is final; If planning to apply for a scholarship, fill out the Scholarship Application Form and submit it by Apr. 21, 2023.
