ISN uses a US Standards-Based curriculum for Pre-K through 12, with Advanced Placement (AP) programs and SAT testing. English is the main language of instruction. ISN is an official AP and SAT testing center and offers AP programs. University preparation is provided through a dedicated University Guidance Counsellor to help students navigate admissions to US and European universities, including Italy's Maturità and Spain's Selectividad.
ISN's Visual Arts and Music program cultivate technical, intellectual and creative expression. Students explore painting, drawing, sculpture, and mixed media. The ISN Art Fair and Workshop involves all classes creating artworks around themes such as Kindness. The ISN Music Program is part of the arts offering.
ISN has a diverse multicultural community. English is the main language of instruction, and a specialized ESL program supports language learners. Host Nation Italian is taught in Elementary School, Spanish is taught at the High School level with levels aligned to the QCER, and French is offered in a three-year course. ISN also emphasizes multilingualism and the option to pursue an English/Italian double curriculum.
ISN's Physical Education program runs from Kindergarten through 12th grade with a focus on fitness and wellbeing. Indoor and outdoor activities include Track & Field, Basketball, Soccer, Volleyball, Handball and more. Special Programs include Karate Do for self-defense and anti-bullying initiatives, and an Annual Sports Day. Field trips extend learning beyond the classroom with local, national, and international destinations.
ISN hosts masterclasses and lectures by distinguished professionals, including former Italian ministers. These experiences connect students with governance, economics, and leadership topics. University Guidance supports higher education planning and admissions, helping students prepare for universities worldwide.
Physical wellbeing is a fundamental part of ISN's program. The PE curriculum includes a wide range of activities such as track and field, circuit training, yoga, Zumba, aerobics, and team sports. Karate Do is offered as a special program for self-defense and wellbeing. The school also hosts an Annual Sports Day to celebrate fitness and teamwork.
