There is a school transport service that connects the school to Venice (Piazzale Roma) and three private shuttles with door to door service, in the neighboring areas of the mainland

Application / Admission fee

- A one-off admission fee is charged in the first year of enrolment for each pupil. Amount: EUR 1,750 (one-off, first year).

Tuition fees by year group (annual and instalment breakdown)

- Nursery: Annual tuition EUR 7,850. Single-payment (one instalment) discount applies (4% discount on the tuition if paid in one payment). Equal instalment options are offered as 5 or 10 instalments. Example instalment amounts (simple equal splits of the annual tuition):
- Single payment (before discount): EUR 7,850; single-payment price with 4% discount: EUR 7,536.00.
- 5 instalments: EUR 1,570.00 per instalment.
- 10 instalments: EUR 785.00 per instalment.

- Reception: Annual tuition EUR 9,040.
- Single payment with 4% discount: EUR 8,678.40.
- 5 instalments: EUR 1,808.00 per instalment.
- 10 instalments: EUR 904.00 per instalment.

- Primary: Annual tuition EUR 9,960.
- Single payment with 4% discount: EUR 9,561.60.
- 5 instalments: EUR 1,992.00 per instalment.

- Middle I & II: Annual tuition EUR 10,680.
- Single payment with 4% discount: EUR 10,252.80.

Pre‑/after‑school (additional hours) and daily extension costs

- Monthly charges for pre/post‑school extension: EUR 47.50 for 1/2 hour; EUR 73.50 for 1 hour. Daily cost for pre/post‑school extension (7:30–8:00 or 16:30–17:30) is EUR 10.50. These extras are billed in addition to tuition.

What the tuition covers and what is excluded

- Included in the tuition: school services, insurance coverage, school meals, and scheduled field trips (study trips abroad are excluded).

- Not included in the tuition (charged separately): school transport, school uniform, morning snack, extra‑curricular clubs/activities, study trips abroad, textbooks and certain exam fees (e.g., external language exam fees where applicable). Uniform items are specified (polo shirts, sweatshirts, trousers/shorts/skirts/dresses, PE T‑shirt) and must be purchased separately.

School transport and related charges

- A dedicated school transport service operates to Venice (Piazzale Roma) and mainland routes; transport is organised and charged separately and must be requested at enrolment. Specific transport tariffs are published separately.

Sibling discounts

- A discount is applied to the youngest child when two or more children are enrolled: 2nd child and 3rd (and subsequent) child discounts are applied as follows:
- Nursery: 2nd child 15% discount; 3rd child 30% discount.
- Reception / Primary / Middle: 2nd child 30% discount; 3rd child 40% discount.

Billing schedule, payment terms and late payment policy

- Billing / instalment options: tuition may be settled in one lump sum, or by five instalments, or by ten instalments. A 4% discount is applied to the tuition for those who choose the single lump‑sum payment option. The admission fee (where due) must be paid in a single payment at contract signing. Invoices are issued to the payer as requested.

- Late payment penalties and consequences: a non‑payment or late payment leads to loss of the agreed term and the obligation to pay the balance immediately; a late fee of EUR 50 is applied for delays exceeding seven days and legal interest may be charged. If payment delay exceeds five days, the school may suspend services until outstanding amounts are settled; if delay exceeds thirty days, the school may terminate the contract. The contract also requires payment of the full annual tuition obligation even in cases of force majeure, except for proportional reductions specified by the school. Field trips already paid are not refundable if not attended.

Refunds, withdrawal and notice

- Admission fee: non‑refundable.

- Withdrawal and notice: if withdrawal occurs after the start date of the school year the notice period is one month. If the required notice is not given, a financial penalty applies (the contract provides for payment equal to multiple months of fees as penalty—contract wording includes penalties equal to two or three months' fees in specified circumstances). The contract sets out that signing the enrolment contract creates an obligation to pay the full annual tuition subject to the limited reductions noted in the contract. Parents should observe the contractual notice terms to avoid penalties.

Boarding

- Boarding is not provided by the International School of Venice; there are no boarding fees listed. The school operates a day‑school model; accommodation and residential provision are not part of the published fee schedule.

Payment methods and invoicing

- The school issues formal invoices to the payer and includes a SEPA form as part of the enrolment documentation, indicating use of SEPA direct‑debit / bank transfer processes for payments. Specific accepted payment instruments (for example card acceptance) are not listed in the fee schedule; payments are invoiced and a SEPA form is used in the enrolment paperwork.
