The International School of Venice provides a learning environment that supports growth and well-being. The building uses eco-sustainable and energy-saving materials to reduce environmental impact and maximize comfort. Spaces are designed with bio-building principles, placing the student, their well-being and health at the center. They encourage experimentation, communication, dialogue, digital learning and English.
Sporting activities are provided through After School Clubs (Music and Sports) and the ISV Summer Camp. After School Clubs are run by ISV teachers or other professionals on site. The Summer Camp includes recreational and sporting activities.
Movement Through Math is a research-based STEAM approach to primary mathematics. STEAM education uses Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts and Mathematics as access points for guiding student inquiry, dialogue and critical thinking. Computing supports innovation and digital literacy, with activities that develop computational thinking, problem solving and ethical decision-making. A computer room provides dedicated space for digital learning.
After School Clubs include Digital Clubs, Performing Arts, Foreign Languages and Music and Sports. The Summer Camp offers workshops and recreational and sporting activities, with drama, music and art. Latin language classes are offered to Middle School students. Classical and Digital Music lessons in English cover piano, electric guitar and drums. English Language classes are available.
The International School of Venice offers a bilingual English–Italian education for ages 3–14. The curriculum blends the English National Curriculum with Italian Ministerial Programs across Early Years (3–6), Primary (6–11) and Middle School (11–14). English is the language of instruction, with Italian integrated to support an international, bilingual setting. The School Curriculum Plan covers all three levels, and Primary pupils prepare for the Italian certificate while Middle School students sit an external state exam. Cambridge English exams are prepared in collaboration with the Oxford School in Venice. Founded in 1993, IS Venice provides a continuous learning pathway with active involvement from parents and staff. The campus uses eco-sustainable, bio-building design, prioritizing student well-being and digital learning. A STEAM approach underpins Mathematics and computing—Movement Through Math—with hands-on science experiences through Fenice Green Energy Park field trips. After-school clubs, Latin for Middle School and a Summer Camp broaden opportunities for culture, sports and creativity.
