The Udine International School is located on the Istituto Tomadini campus on the outskirts of Udine, with landscaped gardens and wooded areas that provide a tranquil setting near the city center. The campus is equipped with the latest sports and recreational facilities and offers easy access by car or public transport. The Main Building houses Elementary and Middle School on three floors and provides direct access to an auditorium, a gymnasium, and an on-site swimming pool, as well as a lunch room, a Science Lab, an Art Room, and a Library offering books and DVDs in English, Italian, Spanish and German. The Early Childhood Centre is a newly built facility with bright classrooms, a lunch room, a large common area, and a secure garden/playground.
The school has a playground, a volleyball court, and a basketball court. The Istituto Tomadini facilities include an Olympic-sized heated indoor swimming pool and a large indoor gymnasium for student use. The Istituto Tomadini compound also includes a vast soccer field set in the green surroundings. The Auditorium in the main building hosts theatre, school shows, and ceremonies.
The Main Building houses specialized classrooms: the Science Lab, the Art Room, and a Library with a rich selection of reading and reference books and DVDs in English, Italian, Spanish and German. There are projectors in nearly every classroom to enhance learning. The Early Childhood Centre provides bright classrooms with modern didactic and playtime equipment, a lunch room, and a large common area. The school uses the Istituto Tomadini facilities for a wide range of activities and sports.
UIS Clubs & Activities extend learning beyond the classroom. Cooking Club explores kitchen safety, healthy eating, and world cuisines. Mindful Art Club combines yoga-inspired movement, mindfulness, and art to nurture wellbeing and creativity. Choir is led by Maestro Denis Monte, giving students the chance to explore their voices and perform together. Extended Time Activities provide structured after-school experiences for families needing additional care. Clubs foster curiosity, creativity, teamwork, and global awareness.
Udine International School (UIS) on Istituto Tomadini campus serves 250 students aged 2 to 17. The curriculum blends Indian elements with bespoke components in a bilingual framework. English instruction begins in Early Childhood, with a multilingual environment. The Early Childhood Centre is taught entirely in English; the Elementary program combines national and international subjects, with Italian taught under MIUR guidelines and Mathematics taught with Singapore Math. Middle School offers core subjects and foreign languages in French, German or Spanish, while Grade 8 prepares for Cambridge ESOL B2 First Certificate. High School launched in 2022 is five years, taught in English, preparing for Italian or international university access; the diploma is recognized by Italian law. Diplomas are issued by the International School of Trieste within SEK, with InterSEK programs and exchanges. Facilities include a Science Lab, Art Room, Library, auditorium, gym and indoor pool, plus an Early Childhood Centre. Clubs include Cooking Club, Mindful Art Club, and Choir.
