Boarding is not offered. The Bashamichi Campus runs a full-time, five-day preschool program with extended hours for working families (8:00 to 19:00; regular hours 8:30 to 17:00). CGK provides preschool transport via a dedicated school bus service that runs twice daily (morning and evening) and starts from Age 2. Three buses cover routes including Yokohama, Sakuragicho, Kannai, Ishikawacho, Yamate, Negishi, Isogo, with connections along the Toyoko/Minatomirai/Blue Line networks; routes may change.
The Bashamichi Campus uses a school uniform. Specific uniform details (colors, items, or where to purchase) are not published on the site; you can view the uniforms in person during Open School or admissions events.
Lunches are provided; snacks are provided only in the afternoon. In some cases related to allergies or dietary needs, a child may be asked to bring their own lunch, and details are discussed with the school.
CGK International School is governed by CosmoBridge Co., Ltd. (CosmoBridge) and forms part of its international school operations; the company profile lists CGK as an International School Business with its head office in Yokohama and two CGK campuses (Kannai and Bashamichi) under CosmoBridge.
CGK International School’s Bashamichi Campus is a preschool campus for Age 2 and Age 3 children located in Naka-ku, Yokohama. The campus is within walking distance of Bashamichi Station (about 3 minutes), as well as Sakuragicho and Kannai stations, making it accessible from central Yokohama and nearby areas. According to the school, CGK is an IB PYP World School and received authorization to deliver the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (PYP) in July 2024. The preschool programme includes structured physical education and monthly swimming lessons conducted at a nearby indoor heated pool. In addition to the core preschool programme, the school offers fee-based after-school optional classes from 4:30 p.m., such as Programming in English, Dance and Japanese-language programmes including Pygmalion and Ronri Engine. A school bus service is available for preschool students. CGK also notes that English is used as the main language at school, with Japanese taught as a subject, supporting children who are growing up in an international environment in Japan.
