Billing schedule and payment terms
- Academic year and term frequency: each academic year at the Higashi Kasai campus is organised into four (4) terms; fees are charged per term (term durations are indicated on the school calendar). All term fees must be paid by the due date shown on the invoice.
- Late payment charge: a late payment penalty of JPY 100 per day applies for fees unpaid after the invoice due date.

- Items and services commonly charged in addition to the term tuition include: uniforms, textbooks and stationery, some social events and residential trips, private instrumental lessons, certain examinations or board/exam fees, and IT devices where required (students in higher grades are expected to provide a laptop that meets school specifications). Books and uniform purchases have a one‑day exchange window; beyond that no exchange or refund is possible.

Sibling discounts
- Sibling tuition discounts are available: a 25% tuition discount for the second child and a 50% tuition discount for a third child; a 25% discount on bus fees is generally offered for the second and third siblings (shuttle services may be excluded from sibling discounts).

Refunds and withdrawal
- The registration fee is non‑refundable. Withdrawal is processed by submitting the online withdrawal form through the parent portal (myGIIS); additional terms regarding notice and any settlement of outstanding charges are applied as set out in the school's fee policies and the parent contract. The school notes that a student re‑joining within one year of withdrawal does not have to pay the application fee again.

- Accepted payment methods include: credit card (accepted for initial/first‑term payment), GIRO (preferred for subsequent term payments), the MyGIIS parent portal for online payments, and standard campus options (cash, cheque, debit/credit card) where applicable.
