The Kita Kasai campus was launched in April 2023 as GIIS Tokyo's fourth campus. It is located in Edogawa Ward, Kita Kasai, and serves students aged 3–8 years, with convenient access near Nishi Kasai and Funabori stations. The opening expanded GIIS Tokyo to four campuses and about 1,200 students. GIIS Tokyo operates within the Global Schools Foundation network, a not-for-profit global group of international schools.
The Kita Kasai campus serves a multicultural student body with students from many nationalities. Community events include Festival of Nations, HeyMath Workshop plus Open House, and seasonal camps such as Summer Camp. Family involvement is encouraged through GIIS Tokyo's parent engagement programs that include Parent Ambassadors and Friends of GIIS. Parents contribute by sharing expertise through talks and experience-sharing sessions and volunteering for school events.
The GIIS Tokyo PTA framework includes Parent Ambassadors who coordinate with the school and participate in events and communications. Friends of GIIS is a parent group that works with the school and helps spread positive stories about the campus to the wider community. Parents contribute through talks and experience-sharing sessions, drawing on professional backgrounds to support student learning. A parent engagement portal coordinates opportunities to volunteer at campus tours and events, fostering deeper family involvement.
Global Indian International School Tokyo – Kita Kasai Campus opened in April 2023 and is located in Edogawa City, on the eastern side of Tokyo. The campus accepts students from ages 3 to 18 and offers Pre-Primary through Highschool education. According to the school website, Kita Kasai campus provides three academic programmes: the Global Montessori Plus (GMP) programme for early years, the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (IB PYP), and the Indian CBSE curriculum. The IB PYP curriculum includes English as the primary language of instruction, with Japanese or French offered as a second language. The campus is accessible from Nishi-Kasai Station on the Tokyo Metro Tozai Line, with nearby Toei Bus connections. GIIS Tokyo also lists a range of co-curricular activities across its campuses, including coding, dance and sports such as soccer and basketball, which support students’ learning beyond the classroom.
