Billing schedule and payment terms

- Tuition and recurring fees are quoted per term (payment frequency shown as “Per Term (4 Months)”). Term fees must be paid in full by the “Last Date of Payment” shown on the invoice. A late payment fee of JPY 100 per day (excluding consumption tax) is charged for payments after the due date.
- Payment method: First term fee is to be paid by credit card; subsequent term fees are to be paid via GIRO (auto‑debit from a Japanese bank account). A payment gateway through myGIIS is available and GIRO registration can be completed at the finance department with the Japanese bank cash card.
- Fees shown include consumption tax (10%) and are subject to change if tax rules change.

Boarding

- No boarding facilities are provided.

Other costs, incidental charges and rules

- Building fee (per term) is charged in addition to tuition; amounts are shown above per programme/grade band.
- Books & uniforms: exchange period for purchases is one day; after that no exchange or refund is possible. Library fines / damage charges apply (example: up to JPY 1,000 or actual replacement cost). Any damage or defacing of school property will be charged.
- Co‑curricular and co‑scholastic activities are part of school curriculum and may carry additional costs where applicable.

Withdrawal and refund information

- Withdrawal requires an online withdrawal form via the parent portal (myGIIS) and at least one month's written notice to the school office. If one month's notice is not given, the fee for the entire month will be payable. Refunds upon withdrawal are applicable only if one month's notice is provided in advance; there is no 15‑day refund — refunds apply on a monthly basis and invoices already generated for the next month may make that month's fee payable.

Discounts and scholarships

- Sibling tuition discount: families with more than one child receive tuition discounts (examples given on the fee schedule include a 25% discount for second and third siblings in some sections; note some sections reference slightly different sibling discount rules — see the fee schedule entries above for the specific programme). Several merit and need‑based scholarships are offered; eligibility varies by scholarship.

Summary note on figures and presentation

- All amounts above are given in Japanese Yen (JPY) and are listed as shown for the academic year fee structure. Per‑term fees, building fees, registration fees and transport fees are quoted individually for each programme and grade band on the fee schedule. For payment procedure, due dates, and exact invoice items, fees must be paid by the invoice due date and the specified payment channels (credit card for first term, GIRO for subsequent terms) should be used.
