NUCB International College opened in September 2022 on the Nagoya University of Commerce and Business campus in Nisshin, Aichi. It was established by Kurimoto Educational Institution (KEI) in partnership with NUCB to provide an international high school education delivered in English within a boarding environment. NIC was approved by Aichi Prefecture as an Article 1 school and was accredited by MEXT to offer both the Japanese high school diploma and the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP); it was designated an IB World School on December 12, 2022. The school held its inaugural completion ceremony on June 30, 2023, marking the end of its first academic year, and planned to begin its second year in September 2023 with a cohort drawn from about 20 countries.
NIC is a full-boarding IB World School hosting students from Japan and abroad, with English as the language of instruction for most subjects.
