Shinagawa International School operates three campuses: Aoyoko (Early Learning Center), Seaside (Grades 1–3), and Samezu (Grades 4–12). The Aoyoko Campus offers the IB PYP Early Years curriculum in a play-based setting and includes an outdoor playground. The Seaside Campus features spacious classrooms, dedicated music and art spaces, a gym, a well-stocked library, and a rooftop playground. The Samezu Campus provides spaces for music, visual arts, and design, a modern science lab, and a comprehensive library and media center, with access to an outdoor soccer field and an indoor gym for weather-related activity. Across campuses, libraries serve as learning hubs with resources tailored to age groups, including a Seaside library with over 15,000 volumes and laptops for online checkouts.
Seaside Campus has a gym; Samezu Campus has a gym; outdoor sports are supported by the nearby Samezu Soccer Field for sports lessons and recess, and there is an indoor gym for physical activity during extreme weather.
The Aoyoko Campus houses the Early Learning Center using the IB PYP Early Years curriculum. The Seaside and Samezu campuses offer libraries and media centers; the Seaside library has over 15,000 volumes and students use laptops for online checkouts. Samezu includes a modern science laboratory for practical science work.
Swimming classes are offered at the Konami Sports Club Swimming Pool for PYP students. The school runs more than 70 after-school programs weekly, including music, drama, sports, arts and crafts, and homework club. Programs are categorized into Academic, STEAM, and Athletics, with activities such as robotics, coding, theatre, dance, and sports.
Shinagawa International School’s Aoyoko Campus is its Early Learning Center for children aged 3 to 5 in Minamishinagawa, Shinagawa (Tokyo). Children begin with the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP) Early Years curriculum, which was introduced at this facility in 2025 and is delivered through a play-based approach that encourages curiosity, inquiry and exploration. The campus includes a safe outdoor playground for physical development, creativity and social interaction. SIS teaches in English (with Japanese taught as a subject) and the school also offers a school bus service with features such as GPS tracking and bus attendants. Families can also access SIS after-school activities (school-wide) that include options like art, music, drama, coding and sports.
