Amman Academy opened in 1991 and is located in Khalda, west Amman. It joined Nord Anglia Education in 2022 as its first school in Jordan. The school follows the International Baccalaureate continuum for students from age 3 through 18, and offers a bilingual English-Arabic curriculum. It is a Pre-K to Grade 12 private IB day school teaching ages 3 to 19 bilingual in English and Arabic.
The Amman Academy Theatre is a 437-seat facility and cultural landmark. The campus includes an indoor pool, outdoor basketball courts, a gymnasium, and two soccer fields, and more than 80% of the school's energy is generated by solar power. The Global Campus connects Amman Academy learners to over 70,000 peers worldwide and provides exclusive collaborations with UNICEF, The Juilliard School, and MIT to enrich learning. The school provides wellbeing support and university guidance to students.
