It's best to ask — circumstances can change at any time.
1. Mashrek International School is a coeducational bilingual school with instruction in English and Arabic. The school admits students aged 3 to 18 and offers the Primary Years Programme (PYP) for Kindergarten to Grade 5, the Middle Years Programme (MYP) for Grades 6 to 10, and the International Diploma Programme (IBDP) for Grades 11 and 12. Each class has a capacity of 25 students.
2. Applications are submitted via the online Admission Form, which, after a non-refundable fee of 30 JD is paid, places the applicant on the waiting list. The form is treated as a registration form only upon acceptance and does not guarantee vacancy or commitment to acceptance. The admissions process uses the waiting list to manage seat availability and decisions are communicated when seats open.
3. Priority for new registration is given to current students who register for the following scholastic year before December 31. Additional priority criteria include having siblings in the school, date of application, and availability of seats in the required grade, along with completion of official registration procedures and requirements. If arriving from the United States, United Kingdom, or Canada, arrangements exist with AMID East, the British Council, or the Canadian Embassy, respectively; the report card should be certified by the relevant authorities to support foreign program enrollment and equivalency.
4. If acceptance is granted, the report card should be certified by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Directorate of Examinations & Tests at the Ministry of Education, and the Private Education Directorate to attain parental/foreign program approval as applicable. The original passport is required during this process.
5. The school is located in Dabouk - Al Hashmieh, Amman.
Mashrek uses a waiting list for admissions. The online Admission Form adds the applicant to the waiting list after a 30 JD non-refundable fee is paid. The form is not a guarantee of vacancy or acceptance and decisions are made as seats become available.
