Facilities Overview

Music School on campus offers piano, dombra, violin, and vocal instruction through a five-year program. Two extensions are available: a Music Studio and an Early Musical Development group. The Centre for Harmonics runs after-school and enrichment activities across arts and sports, including Dance Studio, Painting, Sculpting, Football, Taekwondo, Basketball, Chess, Breakdance, and Robotics, with language classes (French and Spanish) for primary students. The Learning Support Center provides psychological support, learning services, and SEN support for students across grade levels. The IB programmes are offered at all levels with a multilingual language program including Kazakh, English, Russian, and French.

Sports Facilities

The Centre for Harmonics offers a broad range of after-school sports and physical activities. Football and basketball are available for younger students, with after-school sessions. Taekwondo, breakdance, chess, and robotics are among other activities offered through the centre. Activities run after school with sessions scheduled for late afternoon on multiple days.

Academic Facilities

IB programmes are offered at all levels: Primary Years Programme, Middle Years Programme, and Diploma Programme. The Learning Support Center provides psychological support, learning services, and SEN support. Multilingual language instruction includes Kazakh, English, Russian, and French, embedded within the IB learning framework. Technology and Art are integrated, with ICT taught from Grade 1. IB Diploma is globally recognized.

Extra-Curricular Activities

Centre for Harmonious Development offers fee-paying after-school activities. Activities include Dance Studio, Painting, Sculpting, Football, Taekwondo, Basketball, Chess, Breakdance, Robotics, French, and Spanish. Programs run after school for primary through Grade 8, with sessions scheduled in the late afternoon on various days.

Miras International School Astana is a private school in Kazakhstan offering Baccalaureate continuum: PYP, MYP and DP, for students aged 3 to 18. Opened in 1999, it was Kazakhstan's first school authorized for all IB continuums and it maintains graduates enrolling at top universities. The teaching staff comes from more than 10 countries, with many teachers experienced as international examiners. The campus includes a Music School offering a five‑year program in piano, dombra, violin and vocal studies, plus a Music Studio and an Early Musical Development group.
