The BMIS campus is a purpose-built school located near Bamburi-Haller Park on a 23-acre site. It has dedicated Early Years classrooms and outdoor learning space, internet-connected classrooms, two library resource centres, and a class music/orchestra room with separate practice rooms. The school provides two ICT suites, Wi-Fi across the campus, three science laboratories, an art studio and a DT room, and a shared covered hall for assemblies and indoor sports. Outdoor facilities include extensive playing fields, a cricket field with nets, a 25-metre swimming pool with a baby pool, an open-air dining hall and a well-equipped kitchen. The campus also features a sick room with a nurse on duty, a fleet of buses, a bio-diverse wetland area for science studies, and 24/7 security.

Arts – Drama, Music and Art: BMIS offers drama productions, regular musical concerts, talent shows and LAMDA as an extra-curricular activity for Years 3–11; peripatetic music teachers instruct in instruments such as drums, piano, strings, brass and voice, with ABRSM examinations. Sport: BMIS competes in IAPS and KAIIS, with an average week featuring 6–10 fixtures and frequent weekend tournaments; inter-house competitions cover athletics, football, rugby, hockey, swimming, cross-country, netball, cricket and rounders. BMIS swimmers compete nationally and internationally, with a rigorous training programme and opportunities to attend early-morning or after-school sessions, and they have participated in the Africa Junior Swimming Championships; a learners pool exists for younger swimmers and there are Mother and Baby sessions.
Braeburn Mombasa International School (BMIS) is a co‑educational international school in Kenya delivering British independent education with British and international curricula for learners aged 1 to 18.
