Graduates memorize the Qur'an and demonstrate the three Rs: reading, writing and arithmetic, inclusive of the three Cs: creativity, communication and collaboration.
Clubs include Wildlife, Debate, Agriculture, Photography and Art. Students participate in photography and visual arts through these clubs. Debate and Language Elocution is offered as part of co-curricular activities.
Mijikenda culture is practised at Deenway and Somali culture is practised as well. Cultural activities highlight traditional practices and events, including Cultural Day. The school presents content on Mijikenda and Somali cultural heritage as part of its program.
Extra-curricular activities include basketball, football, martial arts, swimming, skating and roller-skating. Board games and table tennis are offered, along with clubs in Wildlife, Debate, Agriculture, Photography and Art.
