Introduction

Emerald International School is a day school for ages 4 to 16, offering Accelerated Christian Education (ACE) and the British Curriculum (IGCSE). ACE is a Bible-based, mastery‑learning program that runs Foundation to High School (Kindergarten to Grade 12) with an option to switch to IGCSE at Year 7. Accredited in 2009, ACE graduates have a 100% university transition rate. In 2016 the school moved to a 10‑acre campus on Ngong Road with modern, tech-enabled facilities and ongoing investment. The IGCSE option provides over 70 subjects, is Pearson EdExcel approved, and Emerald is a Pearson Exam Center. The campus emphasizes wholesome character development alongside academics. Extracurriculars span sports—soccer, basketball, volleyball, badminton, skating, swimming—and clubs such as Drama, Music, Chess and Checkers, English, Art, and the Environmental Club. Kiswahili is offered, and the English National Curriculum (iLower/IGCSE) guides the British pathway, providing an internationally oriented education for families overseas. Supports global readiness.
