Peponi was founded on spiritual principles in 1985. It was established by a family to become a family, with the founders' belief that Every child matters. Kenyan heritage is blended with a traditional British international education system. The three schools—Peponi House Kabete Kindergarten, Peponi House, and Peponi School—are connected by this ethos and educate pupils from age two to eighteen in an international, multicultural, multi-faith community.
One Community Derived from Many underpins Peponi House's inclusive ethos. Peponi House is a diverse educational community with a unique learning journey for all pupils, built on hard work, friendships, cooperation and respect within a mutually supportive environment. The community is supported by pastoral excellence and a growing expertise in pioneering and dynamic teaching and learning. The curriculum is based on the British National Curriculum and the Common Entrance syllabus, with a broad range of co-curricular offerings to engage pupils and foster global citizenship.
Peponi House is an independent, co-educational day preparatory school for 5 to 13-year-olds, located in Kabete, Kenya, and part of a three-school family that blends Kenyan heritage with a British international education.
