Uniform is required across all year groups. Boys Year 1-6 wear a blue shirt with white stripes, navy trousers or shorts, navy pullover, navy fleece jacket with the logo, navy tie with the logo, navy socks and black shoes. Girls Year 1-6 wear a blue shirt with white stripes, navy trousers or tunic, navy pullover, navy fleece jacket with the logo, navy tie with the logo, white socks and black shoes. Years 7-11 for both boys and girls include white shirts (long or short sleeve), Charcoal grey bottoms, grey socks, navy tie, navy pullover, navy slipover, navy fleece jacket and blazer with badge, and black shoes. Games uniform features a house polo shirt (Amboseli, Serengeti or Tsavo), PE kit, a tracksuit and swimming kit.
A meal plan is offered with lunch as an optional per-term provision. The fee structure lists LUNCH PER TERM (OPTIONAL). Daily lunch costs 400 Kenyan shillings for Crèche and 600 Kenyan shillings for other year groups (per day).
There are three houses: Amboseli, Serengeti and Tsavo. All years wear a house polo shirt for games.
The school is privately owned as Potterhouse School Ltd. It was established in 2002. The governance model is TOPAS Partnership (Teachers, Owners, Parents, Administration and Students). The school follows the British National Curriculum.
Potterhouse School is a Christian values-based day school in Runda, Nairobi, educating pupils aged 2 to 18. Established in 2002, it follows an adapted form of the British National Curriculum across Kindergarten to High School. The Kindergarten serves ages 2–5, followed by Key Stage One and Two, then Key Stages Three and Four (Years 7–11). Core subjects include English, Mathematics, the Sciences, Global Citizenship, History, Geography, Art, Music, French and Swahili. Year 11 takes IGCSE examinations; Year 10 begins IGCSE preparation with a minimum of five subjects, including Mathematics, English and at least one Science, with Literature also required. Progression options include A‑Levels (Years 12–13), BTEC qualifications or IB options, with guidance provided by the Mentoring, Guidance and Counselling Department. The school welcomes diverse nationalities and offers a Music Resource Centre with ABRSM preparation, a school band, LEGO Education and KUMON, and a Dolphin swimming program that broadens global opportunities.
