Founded in 2018, SABIS® Runda is a member of the global SABIS® Network. The school uses an international curriculum built on standards from both the American and British educational systems. The SABIS® Educational System is implemented through the SABIS® Learning Cycle, with technology in the classroom and continual student assessment via the SABIS® Digital Platform. The curriculum enables fluency in English, French, and Kiswahili and prepares students for American exams such as SAT and AP and British exams such as IGCSE and A‑Levels. The SABIS® Student Life Organization supports student leadership and life‑skills development outside the classroom.
An international community exists for students from Kindergarten through Grade 12. The school organizes a wide range of events throughout the year via the SABIS® Student Life Organization to foster community and friendships, including SLO Recruitment, Character Day, International Day, Inter-school Sports Events, Spelling Bee, Science Fair, Talent Show, Fashion Show, Cultural Day, Family Fun Day, and End-of-Year Celebrations/SLO Awards. The curriculum and activities emphasize student life and social development as part of daily learning. These activities help students develop leadership, teamwork, and cross-cultural understanding within the Runda community.
