The Coast Academy offers Model United Nations as part of its student life. An array of extracurricular opportunities is led by faculty/staff, parent volunteers, and enrichment partners. Extracurriculars extend learning beyond the classroom and foster collaboration across grade levels. The objective is to provide every student with at least one learning opportunity beyond the classroom to enrich their school year.
After-school activities include basketball, football, badminton, volleyball, athletics, dodgeball, netball, swimming, gymnastics, cricket and rounders. These activities are led by our faculty/staff, parent volunteers, and enrichment partners. They foster school spirit, belonging, and collaboration across different grade levels. Participating in these activities stimulates growth and helps students develop important life skills.
Community Service is part of The Coast Academy's student life. 90% of students choose to volunteer through one or more outreach projects. The school emphasizes volunteering as a core component of its community engagement.

The Coast Academy is a Kenya-based school for ages 2 to 18, offering a Cambridge-based pathway from Kindergarten to A Level. The Primary phase covers Key Stage 1 for ages 5 to 7 and Key Stage 2 for ages 8 to 11, with SATs at end of Key Stage 1 and Cambridge Primary Checkpoint tests in Years 3 to 5. The Lower Secondary phase follows the British National Curriculum's Key Stage Three, preparing students for entry into IGCSE programme. The Senior School delivers Cambridge IGCSE pathway followed by A Levels, with Years 12 and 13 forming Sixth Form and pupils selecting four or five subjects in Year 12 and three in Year 13. The Coast Academy operates across two campuses in Kizingo, Mombasa—the Junior and Senior Schools—connected to support continuity and community. ICT-equipped facilities support learning, and an expansion programme enhances campus. Extracurriculars include a sport program and Model United Nations.
