Admissions

1. Priority in admission is given to the siblings of registered students when space is available. 2. Complete the application for the new student and attach the official documents required. 3. Depending on space, the appointment for application testing and interview will be scheduled. 4. Kindergarten applicants must pass the personal interview that has been arranged. 5. For elementary, middle-school, or high-school, applicants must pass admission tests in English, Arabic Language, and Mathematics to identify academic level and ability to cope with the bilingual program; a test appointment is set in advance. 6. The placement test fee is 25 KD and non-refundable. If a student must resit the test, no extra charges are due. 7. When admission is approved, a registration fee of 100 KD must be paid; it is non-refundable and non-transferable and will be considered part of the school fees in accordance with private sector regulations by the Ministry of Education. 8. A certification of admission is issued to complete the procedures for transferring the student's file from the previous school. 9. Parents must submit the student's file along with the health file before the beginning of the school year. 10. Students with special needs and special learning needs, such as ADHD, mental distraction, slow learning, or severe psychological disorders, are not admitted at Al-Awael Bilingual School. 11. The application form must be signed by the father according to Kuwaiti law; if parents are separated or one parent is deceased, official documentation should be provided.
