The school requires all students to wear a uniform at all times. Uniforms can be purchased at the school shop from Sunday to Thursday during school opening hours. All items should be clearly labeled with the student's name.
The SCHOOL HOUSE SYSTEM: KIES runs a pastoral house system designed to give students a sense of belonging, promote personal development and encourage healthy competition. House Points can be earned for academic and sporting achievement; secondary pupils wear house colour ties as part of the uniform.

Kuwait International English School (KIES) is a day school within Al Rayan Schools, offering education from pre-school through university entrance preparation. The curriculum is based on the British National Curriculum, with IGCSE options through Edexcel and Cambridge and Cambridge AS and A Levels. The school adapts national plans to suit examination boards and learner needs, with enquiry-based teaching that emphasises problem solving. Class sizes are arranged to give personalised attention in mixed-ability classes, and learning combines practical problem solving, online interactive activities and traditional textbooks. KIES is licensed by Kuwait's Private Education Department and adheres to a UK inspection framework with ISI compliance; the last inspection occurred in March 2019.
