Kuwait International English School (KIES) is a day school within Al Rayan Schools, offering education from pre-school through university entrance preparation. The curriculum is based on the British National Curriculum, with IGCSE options through Edexcel and Cambridge and Cambridge AS and A Levels. The school adapts national plans to suit examination boards and learner needs, with enquiry-based teaching that emphasises problem solving. Class sizes are arranged to give personalised attention in mixed-ability classes, and learning combines practical problem solving, online interactive activities and traditional textbooks.
