Step 1: Enrollment period runs from February through June for the next school year. Step 2: Complete the online enrollment form. The form comprises four sections: student information, parent information, enrollment terms, and attachments. Step 3: The dossier is reviewed for current or planned residence in Kuwait, prior schooling in the French system, and whether a sibling is already enrolled at LFK. Step 4: Children from non-recognized establishments must pass an admission test to determine language aptitude. Step 5: Admission is validated when the dossier is complete, enrollment fees are paid, and the financial regulations are accepted. Admissions are processed by order of arrival and according to available places; mid-year admission is possible for students from homologated establishments if places remain.
Admissions are handled on a first-come, first-served basis and according to available places.
LFK is a private, multicultural French school in Kuwait, homologated by the French Ministry of Education and AEFE-partner. The curriculum follows the French national program with a bilingual dimension culminating in the Baccalauréat Français International (BFI). From maternelle to Terminale, language learning is integrated, with PARLE and EMILE supporting early language development; PARLE continues in collège, and lycée students may pursue the BFI and, from 2025, the English-language European Section. The school also offers language certifications—IELTS, DELE, DELF, and CIMA—to formalize proficiency. A trilingual pathway, the Section Internationale Américaine (SIA), leads to the BFI American track, with some English-language instruction in 2nde. The Section Européenne anglaise is planned to begin in fall 2025. Official pathways include Parcours Avenir, Parcours d'éducation artistique et culturelle, Parcours éducatif de santé, and Parcours citoyen. The campus serves maternelle through terminale and supports extensive after-school activities and eco-responsibility initiatives. The school welcomes families worldwide today.
