Extra-Curricular Activities

Clubs, activities, and opportunities to explore interests and passions

Academic and Intellectual

LFK offers official educational pathways that run from the early years through the end of secondary school. The Parcours Avenir helps students from 6e to Terminale plan their futures and explore the economic and professional world. The Parcours d'éducation artistique et culturelle aims to give equal access to the arts by developing a personal cultural literacy. The school also provides language certifications in IELTS, DELE, DELF, and CIMA to validate language skills and support academic and professional opportunities. Language teaching begins in the earliest grades and continues through Terminale, with BFI and the English-language Section Européenne slated to begin in 2025-2026.

Arts and Creative

LFK offers a wide range of arts and cultural activities as part of after-school programming. Students can participate in choir, theatre (Arab theatre and other productions), and dance (folkloric and modern styles). Visual arts are supported through painting and related arts activities, while language-centered arts include Chanson française and Arabic calligraphy; theatre performances are staged in Arabic. These activities run across maternelle to lycée, providing broad avenues for artistic expression.

Cultural and Language

LFK hosts the Section Internationale Américaine (SIA), a trilingual pathway leading to the BFI (Baccalauréat Français International) American track. In 2nde SIA, history and geography are taught partly in English (2 hours), with additional instruction in English language and American literature alongside the standard English LV. Admission to SIA targets 3ème students moving to 2nde SIA, with a focus on strong English skills and autonomy. The SIA track provides access to high-level outcomes and international higher education opportunities, including Cambridge language certifications. The school also offers the Section Européenne anglaise, an English-language European Section planned to begin in the 2025-2026 school year.

Social and Hobbies

LFK offers diverse after-school activities for all students from early years to Terminale. Activities include language development options such as DELF, IELTS, and DELE, along with cultural and artistic offerings and games like Chess. Physical activities feature Futsal, Basketball (girls and boys), Badminton, Football, Boxing, and Karate, while Yoga and Zumba support wellness. Additional options include Choir, Arabic theatre, and other performing arts, creating a broad set of social and hobby opportunities.

Community and Service

The school is committed to eco-responsibility and aims for the EFE3D label. Eco-délégués guide actions such as beach cleanups, recycling, and environmental awareness through exhibitions and related initiatives. Students also share outcomes and progress through the school's media channels to inspire the broader community.

Leadership and Professional

LFK supports student leadership and career development through official pathways like Parcours Avenir, guiding students from 6e to Terminale in orientation and exposure to the business and professional world. Students also develop leadership and communication skills through clubs such as Le Club Presse, a journalism and communications club that covers school events and publishes interviews and reports on social media.

Lifestyle and Wellbeing

LFK provides a broad range of sports and wellness activities, including Futsal, Basketball, Badminton, Football, Boxing, Karate, Calligraphy Arabe, Yoga, and Zumba. The after-school program also supports physical and mental well-being through dance, theatre, and other movement-based activities. These offerings promote active lifestyles across all grades.
