The school offers after-school activities designed to support academic enrichment and critical thinking. Activity options include Lego Robotics, Knowledge Bowl, Science Club, and Strategic Games, among many others. Activities are organized into four sessions, and the activities fee covers after-school activities and materials; each activity is designed for a specific age group. Sign-ups are available electronically or on paper, and volunteers or professionals can be invited to support activities.
Drama, Painting/Drawing, Music & Rhythm, Art Club, Band, Origami Club, Embroidery, Knitting, Craft/Sewing Club, DIY Toys, Upcycling Art, and Dancing are offered. Each activity is designed for a specific age group. Sign-ups can be completed electronically or on paper.
French and Spanish Fun are offered as language clubs to support language development and cultural awareness. These language clubs are part of the after-school activities program with sign-ups to organize participation. Instruction is delivered in English. Sign-ups help place students in age-appropriate groups.
Social and hobby activities include Baking Club, Ukulele Club, and Recorder Club. A broad range of active offerings such as Dancing, Yoga, Table Tennis, Badminton, Basketball, Soccer, Volleyball, Outdoor Games, and Health and Fitness are also available. Sign-ups are completed electronically or on paper, and each activity is designed for a specific age group.
Volunteering to support activities is welcome. Parents and professionals can volunteer to run activities. Sign-ups are done electronically and on paper.
Wellbeing is supported through Yoga, Health and Fitness, and a variety of outdoor activities and sports. After-school sessions provide opportunities for physical activity and relaxation. Students can develop new skills and interests through these offerings.
QSI International School of Bishkek is an English-medium school in Kyrgyzstan serving ages 2–18. The program follows North American standards and uses Mastery Learning and Performance-Based Education. Preschool uses Frog Street and develops language, literacy, mathematics, social studies/health, motor skills, arts, social-emotional development, and independence. Elementary (ages 5–11) provides mathematics, literacy, science, cultural studies, art, music, technology, and physical education, with Russian, French, or Kyrgyz as foreign languages and Intensive English for speakers. Middle School covers math, reading, writing, science, cultural studies, art, music, technology, and PE; foreign languages include Russian, French, or Kyrgyz, with Intensive English. Secondary emphasizes mathematics, biology/physics/chemistry, world cultural studies, history, economics, literature and writing, art, music, PE, foreign language and technology; students complete a year-long research project. AP courses including AP Capstone are part of the curriculum. The QSI network supports Bishkek. Facilities include a rebuilt main building (2020) and arts, gym, and sports spaces.
