Exupery International School was established with a founder's vision inspired by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry and The Little Prince, and the name Exupery arose naturally from this vision. The founder's vision is presented in the school's materials, and the school is led under a governance structure by a School Board of Trustees. The language of instruction is English, with robust mother tongue programs in Latvian, Russian, and French, and opportunities to learn an additional language. In 2021, Latvia's State Education Quality Service awarded Exupery International School international status, enabling study of international programs in English and the awarding of international diplomas recognized in Latvia and in other countries. The school offers the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (Preschool equivalent and Grades 1-5), the Cambridge International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) Programme in Grades 6-9, and the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IB DP) in high school.
