The school has a counsellor available to all students and a safeguarding system to support welfare and safety. The ethos is that all adults are responsible for wellbeing, creating a warm and caring environment with strong staff–student relationships; students feel safe and supported. All staff undergo annual safeguarding training; the safeguarding team includes a designated safeguarding lead and deputy safeguarding leads; concerns are recorded and acted on using the My Concern system.
SEND provision exists and there are plans to develop it further to meet the needs of all students requiring additional support.
There is currently no formal English Additional Language (EAL) program for students entering with little or no English. English is the language of instruction across the school, with Latvian Language and Literature A and English B offered to meet the needs of local and international students; in the early years many children join with limited English and a language-rich approach is used to support development.

King's College Latvia is a British international school within the King's Group and Inspired Education, educating learners from Pre-Nursery to Sixth Form (ages 2–18). The curriculum spans Early Years Foundation Stage, the British curriculum, Cambridge IGCSE, and the IB Diploma Programme for ages 16–18, reflecting a full all-through pathway. The school opened in 2017 and became an IB World School in 2022, joining Inspired Education Group in 2019. Set on a 20,000 sq m campus in Pinki, the campus features two indoor swimming pools, a 25-metre pool, a dance studio, a weights room, and exclusive access to a private forest.
