Outdoor Football Field and Basketball Court opened in 2019-2020 as prominent on-campus facilities. The basketball court adheres to international standards. The school plans to host international football and basketball academies granting HIS students priority enrollment. These facilities enable HIS students to participate in athletics.
The Learning Resources Center is the school hub for physical and virtual resources. It provides tools and materials for teachers and staff and supports student work. The Follett Destiny library system catalogs resources, including print, digital, and audiovisual materials across age groups. HIS Clubs are an integral part of the educational process which aims to develop and support the personal, social and intellectual abilities of the student. Online clubs were launched to entertain the children and provide life skills during Covid-19, and clubs are available to students from outside HIS. PYP CLUBS and MYP CLUBS are offered for different program groups. The Activities Office oversees HIS Clubs and related activities.
Al-Hayat International School (HIS) is an IB Continuum World School in Aramoun, Mount Lebanon, offering the Primary Years Programme, Middle Years Programme and Diploma Programme alongside the Lebanese Program and the American High School Program.
