The school has a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) & Robotics Club with about 20 students. They learn Python to code robots and apply programming to math problems and real‑world applications, with occasional game time where students compete online. The Model United Nations (BHSMUN) program provides a platform for debate, diplomacy and leadership development. Clubs also include Speak Out and other technology- and debate‑oriented groups.
The school offers Extra-Curricular Arts Activities including Art, Music and Drama, with opportunities to explore Art, Music, Crafts and Drama. International artists visit the campus, including the Lebanese Philharmonic Orchestra and the United Strings of Europe. The school choir brings together students, teachers, parents and Old Scholars. These activities help students develop creativity, teamwork and confidence.
Model United Nations (BHSMUN) provides cross-cultural dialogue and leadership development through international diplomacy. The May Festival is organized by the Parents' Association and welcomes participation from students, parents and the wider community with music, dance, games and food. The school also invites international artists to perform on campus, broadening cultural exposure.
Clubs include I Serve, sports, technology, chess, Speak Out and Crochet. Brummana One Scouts Group offers outdoor activities such as hiking, camping, rafting and cave exploration. These hobby and social clubs contribute to a vibrant student life.
The Upper School Community Service Programme aims to instill a lifelong commitment to helping others, develop empathy and promote civic responsibility through unpaid work for nonprofit organizations. Upper School students are required to complete 200 community service hours between Grades 7 and 12. Lower School participates in community service activities such as collecting donations and visiting local institutions.
BHSMUN provides a pathway for future leaders through a Model United Nations program. The Prom Committee is a student-led team that plans and runs the end-of-year formal. May Festival activities involve student leadership alongside the Parents' Association, and the club programme emphasizes leadership across activities.
The school has extensive sports facilities, including a football and athletic field, outdoor swimming pool, climbing wall, gym, dance studio and multiple courts for volleyball, basketball and tennis. There are annual events such as the Walkathon and the Santa Fun Run, plus after-school activities like dancing, rollerblading, wall climbing, martial arts and team sports. A field day and a house system provide structured physical activity throughout the year.
Brummana High School is a long-standing non-profit day and boarding school in Lebanon with a British Quaker heritage dating back to 1873. Serving students aged 3 to 18, it offers two main curricula: the Lebanese Programme leading to the Lebanese Baccalaureate and the International Programme, which culminates in IGCSE (Grade 10), AS Level (Grade 11) and A Level (Grade 12), with the option for students to transfer into the International Baccalaureate Programme after Grade 10. The language of instruction is English, with Arabic and French taught as second languages. The 15-acre campus features historic spaces such as the Meeting House alongside modern facilities including a robotics lab and updated classrooms.
