Introduction

Jesus and Mary School in Rabweh, Lebanon, is a nonprofit Catholic institution run by the Sisters of Jesus & Mary, with ownership transferred to the Maronite Archdiocese of Antelias in 2002. The school serves ages 3 to 18 (Kindergarten to Grade 12) and follows the Lebanese curriculum for the lower years, while offering the IB Diploma Programme (IB DP) in DP1 and DP2 for the secondary years. English is the DP language; the school is trilingual, with Arabic and French taught as well. The DP includes six subject groups and the Core (Extended Essay, TOK, CAS). Since 2022-23 the IB cohort has grown, with a 100% pass rate in May 2024 and full university placement at AUB, LAU, USJ, LU, and abroad at McGill, Sorbonne, and Warwick. The campus spans Preschool to Secondary and hosts laboratories, Robotic Centers, Art and Music Rooms, Ruby Theater, an auditorium, chapels, guidance, and scouts.

Fees
Registration / application fees (examples shown at registration for 2025–2026)

- Admission (application) fee: USD 200.
- Social Fund (on-account at registration): USD 500 (applies at preschool/KGI registration examples).
- Development / Construction Fund: USD 200 (applies at preschool/KGI registration examples).
- Payment on account of first-term tuition at registration (example amounts shown at time of acceptance): LBP 10,000,000 for KGI (2024–25 and 2025–26 acceptance notices). A smaller preschool on‑account example from 2022 shows LBP 3,000,000 for PS registration.

Tuition fees by year group (per-term / per-year detail)

- A detailed published schedule of full tuition amounts by grade (per term and per year for each year group) is not available publicly in the school materials that list registration requirements and policies. What is published at registration are required on-account payments for the first term (examples above) rather than a full per-grade, per-term matrix. Examples of the on-account amounts are: LBP 10,000,000 (KGI registration example) and LBP 3,000,000 (PS example from an earlier acceptance notice).

Billing schedule and payment terms

- Normal tuition billing is structured across the school year; parents are expected to settle tuition in scheduled terms. The school provides for a standard schedule of multiple payments (commonly three payments per academic year), and parents who need to spread payments beyond the standard schedule must visit the Finance Department and complete a special form to request additional installments.
- At registration, parents pay an on-account amount toward the first term tuition; registration and on-account payments secure the student's place.
- Discounts on fees are considered only in the 3rd term and only after all 1st and 2nd term dues are settled. No discounts are granted for KGI classes or for new students. Parents requesting discounts must complete the Finance Department form by the stated deadline.

Boarding / residential provision

- A boarding programme is not listed as a service for Jesus & Mary (Rabweh). The school provides day‑school education from Kindergarten through Third Secondary (including the IB Diploma in the senior years). Boarding fees therefore do not apply.

Other costs and typical additional charges

- Bus / transportation: bus registration is managed through the school (contact for bus registration given as Mr. George Gerges). Bus fees are not published as fixed amounts in the school notices; parents are asked to contact the transportation office for pricing and to register.
- Parent Protection Plan / social contributions: earlier registration notices include items such as a Parent Protection Plan (example: LBP 60,000 in a 2022 preschool notice) or Social Fund contributions (example: USD 500 in recent preschool/KGI notices). These items are charged at registration as shown in acceptance notices.
- Uniforms: the school publishes a detailed uniform code (regular, formal and sports uniforms by division and gender) and makes the lab coat mandatory for secondary students; uniform items and grooming standards are specified, but uniform prices are not published. Parents should expect to purchase specified items (polo shirts, skirts/trousers, hoodies, sportswear, lab coats, shoes) per the Appendix A uniform lists.
- In-school program extras (where applicable): fees for optional activities, trips, examinations or special programs are not itemized publicly in a full fee schedule; some individual notices or division communications may show relevant charges when applicable.

Refund and cancellation rules

- Registration and similar on-account charges are non-refundable. Acceptance and registration notices explicitly state that if registration is cancelled, the fees paid at registration will not be refunded or transferred to another student or another school year. Development-fund and admission fees are treated as non-refundable in registration procedures.

Fee payment options and how to pay

- Parents are directed to the school Finance Department or Administration to settle registration and tuition payments; larger payment arrangements (installments beyond the standard schedule) require in-person completion of a Finance Department form. Specific online payment channels, bank-transfer instructions, or accepted card processors are not published in the school notices and registration materials available publicly. Parents are therefore expected to contact the Finance Department for exact payment methods and to arrange any alternative payment plan.

Availability of published fee detail (important note)

- The school publishes registration requirements, required on-account payments at acceptance, the uniform code, transportation registration instructions, and the Finance Department's policies on installments and discounts, but it does not publish a comprehensive table showing full tuition amounts by grade and by term for the 2026/27 year. The available concrete fee figures shown in public acceptance/registration notices are the on‑account registration amounts (examples cited above) for school years up to and including 2025–2026. Where a complete per-grade, per-term tuition schedule or explicit payment methods (credit card / bank transfer providers) are needed, those items are not present in the publicly posted materials and must be obtained directly from the school Finance Department.

Admissions

Admissions

1. Preschool admissions. The Preschool welcomes applications for new boys and girls, including children who have siblings already attending, and children of staff and alumni, regardless of ethnicity and religious background, as long as parents express willingness to abide by school policies and procedures. The school does not offer services for children with special educational needs. Children admitted must be three years old by January 31 and meet developmental milestones such as independence and social interaction. Application and interview: Applications can be filled out at the Preschool Secretariat. Siblings, staff, and alumni must submit their applications in October, on Mondays and Thursdays between 9:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m.; new applicants must submit in November, on Mondays and Thursdays between 9:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. Documents needed include a completed application form, an original Ikhraj Qayd (Civil Status), and a passport photo. After submission, an interview appointment is scheduled with the Division Principal and a Guidance and Counseling professional to discuss the school mission, policies, and commitments (Catholic faith, policy adherence, financial obligations, and cooperation). It is noted that having siblings, staff, or alumni at Jesus & Mary does not guarantee admission, filling out an application form does not guarantee a place, and admissions are not on a first-come, first-served basis. 2. Selection and results. After reviewing applications, a list of admitted children will be posted on the school web page in February. The admissions decision is communicated to families as part of the selection process, and the school emphasizes that admission is not based on first-come, first-served. 3. Registration. Admitted students receive a specific appointment for registration. They submit a medical report to the Preschool Secretariat and are directed to the Finance Department. Each student admitted to the KG I class is charged a non-refundable Development Fund fee, an Admission fee, and a payment on account of the First Term tuition. 4. Elementary I / Elementary II / Intermediate / Secondary admissions. Parents fill out an Application Form for the appropriate grade (Grade 4 in Elementary I, Grade 7 in Elementary II, and 1S in Intermediate). The Division Principal interviews the applicant and the parents. Parents are referred to the Finance Department to pay the entrance exam fees. The Finance Department signs and dates the Application Form and returns it to the Principal. The new student sits for the entrance exam in July and/or September. The Rector and the Principal discuss the results of the entrance exam. The Principal informs the parents of the final decision; if accepted, a list of required documents is provided. The Rector meets the new parents and their child, then refers them to the Finance Department for registration. For admission to Elementary I, Elementary II, and Intermediate, the entrance exam covers Arabic, English, French, and Math. For admission to the Secondary Division, the entrance exam covers Arabic, English, Math, and French (to 1S); Arabic, English, Math, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (to 2S); and Arabic, English, Math, Economics, and Sociology (to 2SE). No new applicants are admitted to 3S classes at Jesus & Mary.
